Have you ever wondered what a 3D version of Minesweeper would feel like? I did — and here’s what I discovered. The game is built around six types of grid objects, each with its own geometry and neighbor‑calculation rules:

  • Classic cells — behave exactly like traditional Minesweeper tiles.
  • Classic hard cells — unopenable structural blocks (up to 28 possible neighbors).
  • Light cubes — follow classic rules but in 3D, connecting to up to 8 neighbors.
  • Closed cubes — calculate neighbors only within their own structure, ignoring all external cells.
  • Hard cubes — combine 3D geometry with classic logic, reaching up to 20–32 neighbors depending on configuration.

The goal remains the same: open all safe cells. But as difficulty increases, the familiar “Minesweeper feeling” fades away. The logic becomes spatial, layered, and fundamentally different — which is exactly why the game has its unusual name.

Managed to beat level 4! Took a lot of trial and error for me to actually understand the mechanics -- I'm not sure if the instructions could be improved, or if I just struggle with 3D space, lol, but it was fun to figure out!

50/50 the mechanics are really unusual and makes you think. But the rules are also crookedly implemented so far, I tried to release the game for jam, I will fix it in the future. Level 4 relative to all mechanics is of medium difficulty (5/10)
